Door Packaging Line

This packaging line for doors is designed to keep the production process efficient with minimal operator effort. At the infeed side, the stacks of doors are fed in fully automatically. Each door has a unique barcode that is scanned by the robot, so the system knows exactly which operations need to be carried out. The paumelles are then screwed in fully automatically. After that, the doors are rotated, packed and labelled.

With a cycle time of 12 to 15 seconds per door, the production line can process approximately 750,000 doors per year. At the end of the line, pallets in four different sizes are automatically destacked and supplied. The doors are then placed on the correct stack based on the relevant sales order. Pallets are sometimes placed between the stacks of doors so that multiple stacks can be built on top of each other. Thanks to product tracking, the entire process runs efficiently with minimal manual intervention.
